The 5th AHCAB International Expo 2023, organized by the Animal Health Companies Association of Bangladesh (AHCAB), is a significant event aimed at showcasing technological advancements in animal and aqua farm management. The expo will take place from 30th November to 2nd December 2023 at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in Dhaka, Bangladesh, from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

The exhibition has garnered support from the Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of Fisheries & Livestock, Government of Bangladesh.

A total of 215 companies from various countries, including Bangladesh, Egypt, Germany, India, Poland, South Korea, Romania, Thailand, Vietnam, and others, will participate to demonstrate their contributions to ensuring the supply of safe animal proteins to meet both local and international demands. Additionally, the event will address challenges related to disease and rearing of pet animals.

The Opening Ceremony, scheduled for 30th November 2023 at 10:30 AM, will be inaugurated by the Honorable Home Minister, Mr Asaduzzaman Khan, MP. Dr. Nahid Rashid, Secretary of the Ministry of Fisheries & Livestock, will attend as the Special Guest. Guests of Honor include Dr. Md. Emdadul Haque Talukder, Director General, Department of Livestock Services, and Mr. Kh. Mahbubul Haque, Director General, Department of Fisheries. Mr. Sayem ul Haq, President of AHCAB, will preside over the inaugural ceremony.

The event will also feature two key-note papers: “Smart Bangladesh: Contribution of Livestock, challenges and Opportunities” and “Potential of fisheries sector to adopt smart technologies for building smart Bangladesh.”

A diverse audience comprising farmers, investors, entrepreneurs, students, scientists, professionals, and representatives from business entities is expected to visit the expo. The sponsorship for the International Expo comes from Ibratas Trading Company as the Platinum sponsor, Inter Agro BD Ltd as the Gold Sponsor, and Adyan Agro Limited as the Silver sponsor.

Mr. Sayem ul Haq, President, and Mr. Mohammad Aftab Alam, Secretary General of AHCAB, along with Mr. Gias Uddin Khan, Convenor of the Media and IT Committee of the 5th AHCAB International Expo 2023, and other Executive Members, were present at the press conference to provide information and respond to questions about the expo.
