Seminar On “A New Era of Bacterial Control”

 

CTC GLOBAL and M.A.S Bangladesh jointly organized “A New Era of Bacterial Control” in the capital. The seminar was held on Tuesday (October 11) evening at Hotel Le Méridien. Through this seminar, CTC GLOBAL’s contemporary and exceptional product XCELSIO was introduced.

M.A.S Bangladesh Managing Director Dr. Md. Riazul Islam was hosting at the event. The guests were – the renowned microbiological scientist and professor of Bangladesh Agricultural University Dr. Md. Bahanur Rahman, Senior Consultant of CTC GLOBAL Dr. Max Oh, Sales Director Dr. Celeb Lee, the country’s renowned nutritionists and people associated with the livestock sector.

Professor Dr. Md. Bahanur Rahman spoke at the beginning of the program. He said that safe food is currently being discussed all over the world, but if antibiotics are found in this food, then that food is not safe at all, so the main thing is how to reduce the presence of antibiotics as much as possible. He also said that various bacteria are becoming multi-drug resistance, as a result of which Antimicrobial Resistance is very much discussed and the most effective solution against this AMR is Bacteriophage. Dr. Bahanur elaborated the working mechanism of bacteriophage through his enlightening discussion and presentation and highlighted the issue of isolation and purification of bacteriophage in the laboratory of Bangladesh Agricultural University.

Then the senior consultant of CTC GLOBAL Dr. Max Oh spoke. He presented the history, morphology, types, studies, antibacterial activity, mechanism of action of bacteriophage; Discussed in detail about their new product XCELSIO, described in detail about the use and efficacy of this product in various organizations.
