Adisseo’s “Technical Seminar on Rovabio PhyPlus” was held in the capital. The seminar was held at Hotel Le Meridien on the evening of Wednesday (September 21). Through this seminar, the company’s new product Rovabio PhyPlus was introduced. Dr. Sujit Kulkarni – Commercial Director of Adisseo (Indian Subcontinent); Dr. Sujeta – Business Manager; Mr. Elouahli El Mehedi – Global Solutions Application Manager; Dr. Baris Bilen Yavuz – Scientific solution development on feed digest;  and high officials of various organizations involved in the poultry sector and renowned nutritionists of Bangladesh were present at the event.

The seminar was hosted by Dr. Sazzadur Rahman Palash – Country Manager of Adisseo in Bangladesh. He invited Dr. Jamil Hossain – Managing Director of Adyan Agro (Distributor of Adisseo in Bangladesh) for the welcome speech. Greetings Dr. Jamil said, “Our Poultry Industry is currently going through a Crucial Period where no one in the Sector is really in a good mood due to the increase in the price of feed additives and raw materials, the increase in the value of the dollar, and above all the increase in the price of feed in several steps”. He further said, “We started our journey with Adisseo since 2014, our relationship with the organization has grown stronger in these eight years. We supply the highest quality products and our progress would not have been possible without our customer’s support. Adisseo is not primarily a sales oriented company but a research oriented company; it focus on providing scientific solutions to customer problems, scientific trials, seminars etc.; Also maximum research and time is spent to bring a new product of Highest Quality”.

Then Adisseo’s Commercial Director (Indian Subcontinent) Dr. Sujit Kulkarni gave a speech. He highlighted the company’s profile, vision, ambition and key milestones in his speech. Global Solution Application Manager Mr. Elouahli El Mehedi showed the important process of making feed through feed mill, how to increase machine efficiency, use of liquid products, problems and solutions in feed pelleting etc. through a nice presentation.

Then the main speaker of the program Dr. Baris Bilen Yavuz spoke. In his speech, he highlighted the need of Phytase enzyme in poultry feed. He said, “About 25 percent of the food remains undigested in the chicken’s body, so if the digestibility can be increased, then broiler meat production will increase, FCR will decrease, production costs will decrease and the farmer will benefit the most; and Adisseo’s new product Rovabio PhyPlus will do this.” He also beautifully presented how this new product reduces anti-nutritional factors in broilers.

After the question and answer session of the guests, Dr. Protik Kanti Roy thanked everyone who attended the event. Finally, the program concludes with an evening feast.
